Becoming a Rocket City Sitter

Thank you for your interest in Rocket City Sitters. Since we are an on-call babysitting service, you can accept jobs based on your schedule. Please review the list of requirements. If you meet the qualifications, submit a sitter application by email, fax, or mail. Rocket City Sitters will contact you as soon as possible to schedule an interview.

To be a Rocket City Sitter, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have at least 2 years of childcare experience.
• Be First Aid and Infant & Child CPR certified by the time of your first job. (We'll show you how if you aren't already certified.)
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Have a valid driver's license, dependable transportation and insurance.
• Have five references, including three childcare references and two professional or personal references.
